Purpose of Our First Walk
Every step we take, every dollar we raise, plays a fundamental role in supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia in their efforts to care for families of seriously ill children.
Walks are a great way to involve the community in our fundraising efforts. Hundreds of people can participate in walks, meaning that if everyone that participates donates even a small amount, our fundraising efforts can go a long way.
Our mission is to create an atmosphere for friendship, opportunity and community inclusion around our dogs, the treasured friends who enrich our lives and ask for nothing in return.
The inaugural Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House (PRMH) fundraising dog walk – CALLING ALL DOGS -- is set for Saturday, October 25, at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne, PA. The newly-minted event kicks off National Dog Show Month in Philadelphia.
All dogs are welcome with their owners, friends and admirers as the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, What a Good Dog and PRMH have a morning full of fun activities in store for adults, kids and canines. The National Dog Shows Therapy Dog Ambassador Team will be on hand along with agility dogs plus national and Delaware Valley celebrities and pet personalities.
We are saluting all of the dogs that enrich our lives by doing exactly what they want --- spending time with us and with kids and with anyone who has love in their heart.
Join our supporters and sponsors, including Allstate, University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Therapy Dog International, Nestle Purina, NBC 10, What a Good Dog, Greater Media/WBEN Radio and more.
